This reduces the risks associated with external service providers. That includes having own sidings and transhipment terminals (conventional terminals, container terminals and conventional/container terminals), as well as the ability to repair and service rolling stock.

The PKP CARGO Group is a rail freight operator offering comprehensive logistics services in Poland and the European Union. Apart from rail freight transport, our services also include freight forwarding (domestic and international), terminals, sidings, traction, repair and maintenance of rolling stock and reclamation services.

The terminals handling intermodal loading units have an area of more than 70 hectares and a handling capacity of 1,200,000 TEUs. This gives us a high degree of independence in relation to the handling capacity of other operators.
