Proposed candidate to become an independent member of the PKP CARGO S.A. Supervisory Board

The Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. (“Company”, “PKP CARGO”) reports that on 5 May 2016 it received a letter from Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU S.A. representing Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny PZU „Złota Jesień” [PZU Zlota Jesień Open-end Pension Fund] advising of its intention to put forward the candidacy of Mr. Raimondo Eggink at the Ordinary Shareholder Meeting of PKP CARGO S.A. on 11 May 2016 to be an independent member of the Company’s Supervisory Board.

Enclosed PKP CARGO conveys the letter from Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU S.A., the candidate’s consent to run for this position and the CV of the candidate to join the Supervisory Board.
