Information on the intention to carry out collective layoffs at CARGOTABOR Sp. z o.o. in restructuring

The Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. in restructuring (the “Company”) today received information about the acceptance by PKP CARGOTABOR Sp. z o. o. in restructuring (“Subsidiary”) of the “Group Layoff Regulations at PKP CARGOTABOR Sp. z o. o. in restructuring”, which begins the process of carrying out group layoffs in the Subsidiary under the Act of March 13, 2003 on special rules for terminating employment relationships with employees for reasons not attributable to the employees.

No more than 520 employees of the Subsidiary will be subject to collective layoffs, no later than the end of November 2024.

The estimated cost of carrying out the group layoff process will generate 6.55 million PLN. The subsidiary assumes the possibility of obtaining funds to temporarily finance the above-mentioned. costs from the Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund.
