Information on the intention to carry out collective layoffs at CARGOTABOR Sp. z o.o.

The Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. w restrukturyzacji (the “Company”) today received information that on August 21, 2024, the Management Board of CARGOTABOR Sp. z o.o. (the “Subsidiary”) commenced the process of trade union consultations on collective layoffs and provided the organizations operating in the Subsidiary with notification of the intention to carry out collective layoffs in CARGOTABOR Sp. z o.o., pursuant to art. 2 section 3 of the Act of March 13, 2003 on specific rules for terminating employment relationships with employees for reasons not related to employees.

Group layoffs would cover up to 30.2% of the Subsidiary’s employees (up to 752 employees) in various professional groups and would take place in the period: not earlier than from the day following the date of notification to the district labor offices until 30 November 2024.
