Execution of a letter of intent

With reference to Current Report No. 46/2019 of 16 September 2019, No. 43/2020 of 22 December 2020 and No. 13/2021 of 7 June 2021, the Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. (“PKP CARGO”) hereby reports that on the date of this report it signed a letter of intent with Wagony Świdnica sp. z o.o. (“Wagony Świdnica”).

In the letter, PKP CARGO and Wagony Świdnica expressed interest in the possible cooperation regarding the production of certain types of freight cars, in particular a certain type of technical and technological support to be provided by Wagony Świdnica. This is related to the intention of PKP CARGO to build and launch a factory producing freight cars.

The letter of intent comes into effect upon signing by the parties and remains in effect until the earlier of 30 June 2022 or the signing of the potential agreement.

This letter of intent aims only at expressing the parties’ interest and does not create any obligations.
