Approval issued by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection

The Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. (“Company”), in reference to Current Report No. 30/2020 of 17 September 2020, hereby reports that earlier today it obtained information about the approval issued by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) for a concentration involving the establishment of a joint venture by PKP CARGO S.A. and LTG Cargo Polska Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw.

The Company is currently in the process of reviewing whether approvals by any other antitrust authorities will be required to establish the joint venture. If such approvals are required, the Company will inform about them in a separate report.
