Information on the submission by PKP CARGO S.A. in the restructuring of the offer in the open tender organized by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. entitled “Purchase of hard coal transportation services by rail to the Branches of PGE Energia Ciepła S.A. and ZEW KOGENERACJA S.A. in the years 2025 ÷ 2027”

The Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. in restructuring (“PKP CARGO”, “Company”) hereby informs that on August 29, 2024, it received information that in the procedure organized by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. for the provision of hard coal transport services by rail to the Branches of PGE Energia Ciepła S.A. and ZEW KOGENERACJA S.A. in the years 2025 ÷ 2027, covering a total volume of 5.75 million tons, the offer submitted by the Company turned out to be the most advantageous.

The gross value of the offer was PLN 173,946,467.07.

The Company will inform about receiving official information about selecting the above offer as the most advantageous in a separate current report.

Due to the fact that price is the only criterion for evaluating offers in this tender, the Management Board considered that the selection of PKP CARGO’s offer and signing of the contract is highly probable.
