Resignation by a Supervisory Board Member from running for the next term of office

The Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. (“Company”, “Issuer”) hereby reports that on 28 April 2016 the Company received information on the resignation by Mr. Stanisław Knaflewski, Supervisory Board Member, from running for the next term of office, reading as follows:
“In connection with the planned expiration of my mandate of an independent member of the Supervisory Board of PKP CARGO S.A. (“Company”) at the Ordinary Shareholder Meeting to be held on 11 May 2016, I hereby declare that I will not run for a mandate of a member of the Supervisory Board of the next term of office.
This decision stems from the completion, already in the expiring term of office, of the tasks I had undertaken consisting of the organization of work of the Nominations Committee and the Audit Committee of the Company’s Supervisory Board, of which I was chairman and member, respectively, as well as my acceptance of new professional duties.”
The Issuer’s Management Board would like to thank Mr. Stanisław Knaflewski for his commitment and contribution to the functioning of the Company’s Supervisory Board.
