Co-financing awarded for three projects submitted under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020

The Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. (“PKP CARGO”, “Company”) hereby reports that today it received information on awarding the co-financing for three projects submitted by PKP CARGO and its subsidiary, PKP CARGO Centrum Logistyczne Małaszewicze Sp. z o.o. (PKP CARGO CL Małaszewicze”) under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment (POIiŚ) – contest No. POIiŚ.3.2/1/16 for Measure 3.2 Development of marine transport, inland waterways and intermodal connections, group C: Intermodal transport:
I. Project entitled: “Multi-system locomotives and wagons for intermodal transport” (beneficiary: PKP CARGO) – proposed co-financing: PLN 92,394,600.00, awarded co-financing: PLN 92,394,600.00.
II. Project entitled: “Platform wagons for intermodal transport” (beneficiary: PKP CARGO) – proposed co-financing: PLN 183,428,050.00, awarded co-financing: PLN 183,428,050.00;
III. Project entitled: “Modernization and extension of the Intermodal Terminal in Małaszewicze including the purchase of equipment” (beneficiary: PKP CARGO CL Małaszewicze) – proposed co-financing: PLN 12,852,149.90, awarded co-financing: PLN 12,852,149.90.
The Company’s Management Board believes that this refinancing will contribute to the consistent implementation of the PKP CARGO Group’s development strategy and ultimately increase its role as an entity operating on the intermodal market in Poland and internationall.
