Notification of announcement of a strike by the trade unions

Legal basis (selected in ESPI): Article 56 Section 5 of the Act on Offering – update

With reference to Current Report No. 41/2015 of 30 July 2015, the Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. (“Company”) hereby announces that on 30 October 2015 it received a letter from the National Protest and Strike Committee active in PKP CARGO S.A. (“KKPS”) in which KKPS announced a decision to carry out, on 9 November 2015, a rolling general strike in the Company pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4 of the Act of 23 May 1991 on Resolution of Collective Disputes.

The letter noted that the strike will start in the Company’s Silesian Plant in Tarnowskie Góry, at the time determined by the Company Protest and Strike Committee. Due to lack of information about the scope of the strike, the actions taken during the strike and its duration, the Company is not able to estimate its potential financial effects.
