Estimation of selected financial and operating data of the PKP CARGO Group for the first half of 2022

The Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. hereby publishes estimated selected consolidated financial and operating highlights for the first half of 2022:

– revenues from contracts with customers: PLN 2,451.5 million;

– EBIT: PLN 6.1 million;

– net result: PLN -42.4 million;

– EBITDA: PLN 371.5 million;

– freight volume: 51 million tons.

In H1 2022, the ongoing military action in Ukraine and the economic sanctions imposed on Russia and Belarus had a significant impact on disruptions in the domestic and international supply chain and caused a declining stream of goods transported from the Eastern direction.

The figures presented above are estimates and as such are subject to change. Publication of the consolidated report of the PKP CARGO Group for the first half of 2022 is scheduled for 26 August 2022.
